Integrated Production Manager

Essential Functions
  • Serve as the key internal production interface on projects once they have been kicked off (in partnership with the Account lead and Project Manager)
  • Partner with Creative teams to ensure their vision is in line with SOW and budget realities and/or developing alternative solutions to bring the creative idea to fruition
  • Define tactical project plans, lead partner and vendor recommendations, manage and communicate timing and budget expectations to ensure successful project deliveries
  • Develop and manage budget of projects. Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial management
  • Identify external resource needs; secure and manage resources across projects when necessary
  • Simultaneously manage internal team expectations and vendor relationships to ensure the executions are flawless
  • Handle the tasks of developing and maintaining existing vendor relationships within the art, photography and music industries
  • Comprehensive knowledge of talent procurement, usage rights and clearance and fee negotiations
  • Handle the tasks of finalizing purchasing of artwork, photography and staff such as photographers, stylists, models and make-up artists
  • Lead requirement gathering and discovery process for large-scale projects or lead many smaller projects simultaneously. Define and manage project requirements, scope of work, specs, budget, and schedule for projects while effectively reporting on allocation and spend
  • Consult on project scope development regarding cost effective and efficient production strategies, resources and budget
  • Work independently to solve problems, make quick decisions and communicate calmly and effectively in challenging situations
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and partners to build teams for project success including art buying and performing press checks
  • Be a tireless advocate for the creative process so that the best ideas come to life, and also look for ingenious ways to deliver solutions on time and budget
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, able to problem-solve autonomously within uncertain project environments
Qualifications & Education
  • Minimum of 7 years experience as a producer in a creative agency or production environment (digital, print, broadcast, post, experiential)
  • Knowledge of broadcast production and post production
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills
  • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills a must
  • Knowledge of collaborative development tools including content management systems, digital asset management platforms and their interrelationship with other critical parts of the marketing infrastructure
  • Background in print production, broadcast AND digital preferred (yes, you are a unicorn)
  • Background in experiential production is a plus
  • Strong industry knowledge and connections with both agencies and production houses
  • Client facing experience, particularly in relation to developing scopes and budgets
  • Self motivated and willing to expand knowledge
  • Values a collaborative team and entrepreneurial work environment as we continue to build the agency of the future
